About Us

Kyle Jeffers, owner of Jeffers Upholstery and The Fabric Room, has run a successful upholstery business in Albany, Indiana for over 32 years. Kyle has been married to his wonderful wife, Lynn, for 32 years as well. They have one daughter, Kyla.

Kyle Jeffers was trained in the upholstery business by completing a two year apprenticeship in Greencastle, Indiana for his uncle and working for a upholsterer from California with a combined experience of 70 years. Mr. Jeffers was able to learn about different styles and types of furniture from two different regions of the country.

Jeffers Upholstery provides the following services:

• Custom Upholstery of furniture, both residential and commercial
• Complete antique restoration
• Refinishing and repair of all types of furniture
• Automotive seating and carpeting
• Complete boat interiors and covers
• Fire and water damage restoration

In October of 2004, The Fabric Room was opened and fully stocked with high quality fabrics in many patterns and colors. Kyle Jeffers hand selects from thousands of top quality fabrics to ensure our customers have a wide selection of modern patterns and colors from which to choose.
